DVNC.agency
A design and build agency told through six ball-sport characters, one for each of its services, painted on GPT Image 2.5 Flare and lit like product photography on the agency's black.
The brief was a cast, not a style: every service needed a face a visitor would remember, and every picture on the site had to star one of them. So the pictures are the mascots — there is no stock photograph anywhere on the site.

Making
Step 01: Six characters, one per service
Step 02: A character sheet before any scene
Step 03: The family tested in ten styles
Step 04: Six kinds of picture per service page
Step 05: Clay-and-gold icons for the cards
One character per service
Web design is the fluffy tennis ball. Branding is the shy baseball in its mitt. Growth is the basketball in a visor. Creative is Luxe, the gold golf ball with a monocle. Product design is the football. The monthly subscription is the noir eight ball in a hat and trench coat.

Web design — the fluffy tennis ball
Built in order: the sphere, then the mohair fuzz, then the eyes, then what it does. Only when the character held from every angle was it set into the service's own scenes.

Branding — the shy baseball
A baseball half hidden in its mitt — shy is the point. A mohair take and a real-leather take were painted side by side before the faces and the scenes were drawn.

Growth — the basketball
Wide eyes and a visor: tried through its expressions and its actions first, then put to work across the growth pictures.

Creative — Luxe, the gold golf ball
A luxury object first and a character second: the gold ball is photographed like jewellery, its monocle the only sign of a face.

Product design — the football
Its faces and its actions, then the product scenes it walks through.

The subscription — the noir eight ball
A detective who keeps watch: an eight ball in a hat and trench coat, lit like a film noir — the one character kept in shadow.

Six kinds of picture, never two alike
Every service page shows its character in different kinds of picture — a scene, a person, a screen, motion, a macro, 3D objects, the work alone, another character's cameo, a panorama — and never two of a kind side by side.
One family of objects
The service cards carry 3D icons in one material — matte clay with gold — one idea per object and one light for all of them, so a page of cards reads as a single set.

How it was made
Thirty-six rounds on a picture board before a page was finished: each character fixed on its own sheet first, then tested as a family — on the field, in a landscape, in ten styles — and only then placed into scenes.
